ipad messaging
i want to use my ipad cellular number to do messaging, this is in addition to my iphone number. but when i tried to add it, it asks for a security code that is sent. but it does not show up in my messages.

Your iPad's SIM card (only data) number cannot be used as a phone number.
It is just used by your carrier to check your data usage (when you're not connected to a wifi network), according to your cellular data plan.
