Does Touch ID work on locked Notes on Macbook Air(M1)

There doesn't seem to be a way to unlock a locked Note on my Macbook Air(M1), latest iOS version. Is there a way to do it. Thanks for any info/advice. George

You can enable Touch ID for locked notes in Notes preferences by going to the menu bar, selecting Notes, then Preferences...

You'll need your password for Notes to enable Touch ID, however. If you've forgotten the password you use to lock notes, you won't be able to view notes you've previously locked.
