How do I share my AirTag location with someone?

My wife and I want to use AirTags to know the location of our pets if they run away. How can we share the locations?

Right now, AirTags can only be tracked by one user at a time. Additionally, AirTag is not designed to be used to track pets or children, and the Find My network doesn't update as quickly as a pet might run away.
