How to quit the Trash?
I was trying to empty my Trash on MacBook Pro, but it stuck and I couldn’t stop, quit, or even restart it. Can you help me please?

You can always force quit a shutdown by holding the power button/TouchID for ~6-10 sec.
Force Shut down your Mac.
Log out, sleep, wake, restart or shut down your Mac

Reboot into SafeBoot Mode, then reboot as normal.

Takes a bit longer to get to the login screen, does a quick disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, including dynamic loader cache, etc.
Login and test. Reboot as normal and test.
