Freezing, screen distortion, and crash. Sometimes restarts, sometimes stays off

The problem gotten worse. I've tried updating the OS, updating apps, deleting apps...

To get back in, I have to do a reboot (hold power and home button for 30 seconds), but it doesnt last long.

The screen does this distortion like this for a few seconds and then it restarts. Otherwise, it will die in sleep mode and stay off until I reboot it.

I want to know if others have seen this so I can get it fixed without wasting a lot of time figuring out the cause. It's an ipad pro (2016 I think). Any help is greatly appreciated.

It might be a hardware (battery? screen? other internal component?) failure but we, just users like you, cannot diagnose that issue remotely, sorry.

I suggest that you make an appointment (*) and have your device inspected at an Apple Store or AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) among this list:--> Apple – Location Selector. After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options.
