OS updates prevented for lack of space

Hello, I have mac mini Mac mini (2018) 8 GB. 126 GB storage. Can the storage be expanded?

Mac mini 2018 or later

The internal storage cannot be upgraded after purchase as the SSD is soldered to the Logic Board. You can use an external USB3 drive either for storing the larger files, or by installing & booting macOS externally.
