If you mean "quit" do the following

Click on the Apple lcon
Click on Force Quit
Click on Finder
Click Relaunch

Finder's "Search" Option not working I am trying to use Finder's "Search" option (in the upper right hand corner of Finder) to locate files on my iMac (using Mac OS Monterey v12.6) and it has stopped working. This is one of my favorite features! These are files that I KNOW 100% are on my computer. No matter what I search for, it doesn't find them. I made sure the search settings are checked to find the file name. My husband has the same exact computer and his search function is still working. Thank you in advance!

No, com.apple.finder.plist, anywhere on iMac... why? I bought a secondhand 2019 iMac that was apparently running just fine on Ventura. I had it for a day and updated it to 13.3.1 (a). Now I am having finder issues. Advice I was given was to remove the com.apple.finder.plist. It is nowhere to be found. I have gone looking for it everywhere. Thanks in advance. I have tried showing hidden files etc but no luck. Where is this? Is it still used by finder in the version? What am I missing?
