Add Photo to Email Signature via Apple Mail iOS 15.4.1

How do I add a photo to my phone's email signature? I'm using Apple Mail on iOS 15.4.1-- the photo is 400x100px & 27KB (within recommended size for email signatures).

--> Copying & Pasting the photo does not work

  • When I try to Copy & Paste, I am able to successfully copy the photo from Photos, but when I go to paste it into the email signature box in Settings->Mail->Signature, it does not even recognize the option to paste-- it only provides "copy" as an option.
    • **On my Mac (macOS Monterey 12.2.1), I was easily able to drag the photo from my Finder folder into Mail->Preferences->Signatures
  • I've tried both PNG & JPG files, but neither work with the copy/paste method

Is there another method for adding photos to email signatures in Apple Mail on iOS 15.4.1?

This can't possibly be impossible-- Apple must know that this feature is necessary for any business professional.

Hey there, GiselaValentine!

Thanks so much for using Apple Support Communities.

Being able to add an image to your signature is definitely important and we can help you get this going. Rather than copy and paste, we'd like to recommend that you drag and drop the image you're hoping to use into the signature editor and see if that does the trick.

You can learn more about editing your signature right here: Create and use email signatures in Mail on Mac - Apple Support

We hope this does the trick for you!

Cheers.
