Why does the album artwork in Itunes and Iphone mix up?

For assistance with changing the artwork via iTunes, check out the steps below. With these steps, check to see if the artwork is what you set to be displayed within Info section to determine if that has changed on it's own as well. Add artwork to music and video

1. In the iTunes app on your PC, choose Music from the pop-up menu at the top left, then click Library.

2. Select one or more items in your iTunes library, choose Edit > [Item] Info, click Artwork, then do one of the following:

• Click Add Artwork, select an image file, then click Open.

• Drag the image file to the artwork area.

To retrieve album artwork from the iTunes Store for your entire library, choose File > Library > Get Album Artwork.

In addition to checking that, do you have Sync Library enabled if you're using Apple Music? Fix up everything in your library first. See Grouping tracks into albums for general advice on setting metadata for best results. If syncing doesn't mirror changes correctly to the device you can try removing the tracks in question then adding back again, but if that doesn't help it may be best to remove all music from the device, then add back once more. A more thorough approach may be to backup the device, restore as a new device, restore your backup, then reload the music.
