Cannot add transition after fcpx 10.6.2 update

Hi,

I got a problem adding the transition into my clips. Nothing happen when I drag it to the clips. It's happened after I updated my fcpx to the latest version in both my mac pro and macbook pro. I did re-install fcpx but it is still the same. Now, I can't use the transition anymore. Somebody, please help me...

I can also change the transitions by the traditional drag and drop. I'm hoping someone can address this issue and let me know if there is a fix to this problem other than using an older operating system and an older FCPX.

Adding a transition in Final Cut I just upgraded my machine to a Mac mini 2020 Apple M. I started a new project in Final Cut and when I drag and drop a transition onto any of the videos it shows the green plus sign but does not add the transition. How can I get it to add the transition?

After updating FCPX the transitions arent working. After updating FCPX, the transitions arent working. Each time I drag a transition to a clip thats below the main storyline, the transition does not attach to the clip at all. Ive tried restarting, rebooting and updating my M1 macbook and none of that helps. Is anyone experiencing this problem?

I am having the same issue. In the middle of a project and I cannot place effects on any clips above my storyline??? Please fix asap! I have to finish this job.
