Apple Mail flag colors

Why are my flag colors not correct? Example: Yellow flag is not the color Yellow.

If you are using that MacBook Pro M1 Pro with an external display that supports High Dynamic Range (HDR), disable that HDR in the System Preferences > Displays panel as it tends to wash out colors. I have the 2021 16-inch MBP M1 Pro and am not using it with an external display and the Mail flag colors are vivid for me on macOS 12.3.1.

Two cents here.

Worked with at least two Others with similar issue as this one.

In their specific cases - one upgraded Directly from High Sierra to Monterey and the other was an upgrade from Mojave or Catalina directly to Monterey.

In both cases the present issue was the after affect. and neither was Resolvable.

Thusly, the outstanding question - what Migration Assist used on the Brand New machine with first setup in Big Sur ?

Is this a New Issue ? If Yes, what exactly changed on this computer ?

How may upgrades from previous versions of macOS have been performed on this computer ?

Is this an Old Issue ? If Yes, what actions has the user taken to fix this issue ?

Reliable , accurate, details and context will really help to pinpoint a possible solution.

This was a brand new computer from Apple in December MacBook Pro 16" with M1 Pro chip. I keep my computer updated (now at 12.3.1). The Orange is a darker Red than Red but hard to tell the difference. Red is OK. The Purple is Blue. The Blue is Green. The Yellow is really dark and is easy to confuse with with Red. Green is Green and Gray is Gray. I have rebuilt the mailboxes.

Was a Migration Assist used to setup the computer when first out of the Box as New ?

After the fact but >>

If the new computer is going to be the Apple Silicon M1 Equipped Computer - would suggest Only Migrating the User Account and nothing more.

1 - Apple Silicon with either Big Sur macOS 11 or Monterey macOS 12 Only Support everything 64 bit and there is no workaround.

2 - Issues that may exist on the older computer will be migrated to the New Computer. This would badly pollute the new Original and Pristine installation of the new OS.

3 -  Applications, extensions and Software Drivers may or may not even work on the new computer.

4 - IMHO - it would be best to only install new application etc Directly from the Developer or the Apple Apps Store.

5 - Due Diligence on New Applications and make sure they are Monterey / Big Sur compatible and factor in the ARMs CPU of the Apple Silicon Computer
