Problem with the VoiceOver in iMovie
I am trying to do voice over in iMovie but the outcome is a his his sound. Can someone recommend the solution? Thank You in advance for the help

So, you are getting a hissing sound when you try to record a voice over. Correct? Is it just hissing with no voice heard at all, or do you hear a voice accompanied by the hissing sound? {EDIT} Are there any waveforms in the voiceover audio clip when Show Waveforms is selected from the settings box that appears when you click on the Settings button above and to the right of the timeline?
Are you using a built-in or external mic? Do you have an earphone jack plugged in when making the recording or doing playback? In the Audio-MIDI setup.app in Applications/Utilities, is your mic selected in the Input box?
