Your welcome, Do you see that light when your phone is off?
The TrueDepth camera is intelligently activated; for example, by tapping to wake your screen, from an incoming notification that wakes the screen, or by raising to wake your iPhone!

Good Luck!
Thank you so much for getting back to me! The signal isn’t there. It looks like this and sometimes the circle next to it blinks too!
i only notice it in the dark but is it normal to also see it without turning on the phone or camera?
When viewed through certain types of cameras, you may notice light output from the TrueDepth camera. This is expected as some cameras may detect infrared light. Some may also notice a faint light output from the TrueDepth camera when viewed in a very dark room. This is expected in extremely dark settings.

You'll only see it when you turn on the phone or camera, you shouldn't see it when the phone is off.
Okay thank you! Should I monitor it further before contacting the apple store? Or do you have any other advice?
Can I ask you one last question?
Sure, Ask as you wish!
Are +1 (800) 692-7753 and 1 (800) 263-3394 real apple numbers?
Thank you so much!
