Try these steps to help isolate the issue:

• Try testing this issue when connect to a different Wi-Fi network

• With your downloaded content, try deleting and redownloading the content

• If using Sync Library, toggle sync library off and back on then test

• If you synced this content via USB, try unsyncing the content and sync it back over to your device

• If this particular content is from the Apple Music catalogue try deleting it from your library and re-adding it back

• If content is downloaded (from Apple Music or iTunes Purchases) try deleting and redownloading it

I’m currently listening without gaps and skipped songs and the mix sounds correct. I don’t know. I’m on wired headphones, Bluetooth off, denied all apps access to Bluetooth, disallowed changes to Bluetooth and Music and Media configurations, and turned off location services.
