AirPods Pro Ear Tip Fit Test fail (seal is actually good on both sides)

I seemed to discover the cure for this on a YouTube video: the guy on the video said to inhale quickly (suck if you will) on the black screen at the top of the AirPod. In my case, just the left AirPod was giving me trouble. I tried all the cleaning suggestions from other sites (MacRumors for example) and even did a soft reset of all my devices. None of these techniques worked.

I tried a quick sucking action on that black screen and VIOLA my Tip Fit Test now passes! I have tried it over several times since and the test has passed every time.
