iPhone Bonjour Services - unknown new service

Both my iPhone XR & iPad started using a new Bonjour service that they never used before.

Service Name: _rdlink._tcp.

Port(same for both): 49153

On top of that iPad is using another service called _companion-link._tcp and using 49154 as the port. Was not sure why both would be activated

Both devices have been freezing/slowing down for a while hence I was afraid if there might be a security concern.

i would appreciate if someone can help.

Found the same thing on cellular network using Network Analyzer. What is this? I can’t find anything on it… Will someone let us know. I replaced the numerals with XXX’s because I don’t know what it is. Is this the Bluetooth address?

Services: _rdlink._tcp.

IP Address: 127.0.0.1. Port: 49159

IPV6 Address: ::1

rpBA = 86:C2:49:xx:xx:xx

rpAD = 7ee9ff070XXX

rpVr = 340.19.11

I am very aware that it is a public group and Thank you for the thoughtful reminder but not sure it applies here as I haven’t shared anything personal/unique or confidential.

The TCP and UDP ports used by Apple software products are already shared by Apple “publicly” (see below link) and as this service (_rdlink._tcp) is not shortlisted i wanted to check if anyone knew.

i Hope it is clear for you now. Let me know if u am missing anything.

Saying that, would be great if anyone who is knowledgeable on this topic can help.

thx
