Hi,
I am trying to detect my Time Capsule harddrive through my new PC on windows 11 pro but without luck. I have installed the Airport Utility app and detected my device. In the settings for the TC, I enabled the setting for file sharing through the network.
What more do I need to do so that the PC can detect my harddrive?
Please advice.

Time Capsule
The Time Capsule uses an ancient smbv1 protocol to communicate with other devices.
Not sure about Windows 11, but Microsoft disabled smbv1 in Windows 10 for security reasons in recent versions of the operating system, so that might also be true for Windows 11. I don' have a PC here to test, so one of the PC guys may need to help out here.
Try temporarily enabling smbv1 on the PC to see if will help.
Another possibility........Windows 11 may not be able to read the HFS+ disk format of the Time Capsule. More info here:

Hey guys,
The key is to allow smbv1 client but nothing else. This should not make your computer vulnerable to outside hacks. Also once you have done this and allowed all the necessary settings on the Airport Utility app, you create a new network connection and add the name and password of the harddrive.

We have seen posts from other users who report that Paragon software installed on their PCs will allow the PC to read files from the HFS+ formatted Time Capsule disk.

I have not tested this. Best to get with Paragon Support for additional information.
I tried downloading that software but it couldnt find my harddrive unfortunatly. I wrote to their customer service, lets see if they have any good idea on how i can access my drive.
I also tried activating smbv1 protocol but that didnt work either. Wonder if others are having issues in windows 11 pro?
I tried to activate it through apps and services but without any luck. Could it be that the harddrive is formatted in a way that it only woeks on mac computers?
