WiFi not connected once Private Relay service restores after becoming unavailable

Weird situation that I am facing on my iPad. When Private Relay becomes unavailable and then restores, it wont connect to my WiFi, I manually have to forget the network and read my iPad back to the WiFi network before I can connect to the internet. Luckily I have a data plan on my iPad. I have tried to reboot the iPad, and now finally have decided to turn the Private Relay service off as advised by Apple advisor because its not supported due to the fact that its in Beta. Looking to see if others have this issue also and if there are any other workarounds. I have other devices (MacBook, iPhone) where this isn't a problem.
