Latest update downloaded to Apple Watch won’t charge on aftermarket charger.

Latest up date downloaded to watch now it won’t charge on aftermarket charger. Thought charger was the issue but my wife’s Apple Watch has the same after market charger on her night table and her watch won’t charge on it either. What are the chances 2 identical watch’s download same update the same day and the next day 2 identical chargers quit working??

Anyone experienced the same issue? They both charge fine on the apple charger.

Apparently - if you do a bit of research in the internet - apple seems to have caused again a problem with the latest Update to WatchOS 8.5.1. Affected are mostly Watch Models 7 and also some Models 6 (as mine). Resetting, restarting etc. doesn't fix the problem.

Which Apple Watch model are you having issues with? For issues with a third-party charger, you may wish to try reaching out to the manufacturer for guidance on it not working.

You may also find some steps here that can help with the Apple Watch not charging as expected: If your Apple Watch won't charge or it won't turn on
