I’m not receiving certain text messages from unknown numbers with verification codes, appointment reminders, etc. I’ve gone through all my setting in iMessage and made sure everything is correct like it said to do in the User guide online. Now what??? Thanks in advance for any help and suggestions you can throw my way!

I’m assuming it’s SMS. But I do receive messages from a friend that has an Android. It happens when I have to receive a verification code from a website such as PayPal to log in to a site. I can’t even get the verification code from WhatsApp to try and receive the texts through that site!
Are these iMessages or SMS?
