Daisy chaining thunderbolt displays on the Mac Studio

It seems that this isn't possible with the latest mac minis... but can it be done with the new Mac Studio? I have two perfectly good 27" Apple thunderbolt displays that I've been using daisy chained together with my older mac mini.... is this problem unique to the latest mac minis or has the proverbial ship finally sailed on my displays? It seems a shame to have to buy new monitors to have a dual display setup with the Mac Studio when my existing monitors work just fine...

I don't see why it shouldn't work. Irt specifically says it supports Thunderbolt 2 displays:

Mac Studio (2022) - Technical Specifications

"Thunderbolt 4 digital video output supports

Native DisplayPort output over USB‑C

Thunderbolt 2, DVI, and VGA output supported using adapters (sold separately)"

If daisy-chaining doesn't work, two adapters should, and could use different Thunderbolt busses.
