Critical Threat Message from Apple?

Great so I just reloaded the page and have to retype this (smh)

So basically I was cruising about the web looking on fnaf stuff and then got a page redirect that I couldn’t go back from or around, saying I (my iPhone 12) had 21 very harmful viruses that would damage my SIM card, memory, and wreck my contacts, from visiting “an adult website” which like lol I was on a fnaf website but okay. It told me to download their app from the AppStore with a button or it (the system) would take action in 2 minutes (with a lovely stressful countdown timer). I frantically googled and found a similar situation with someone a couple years back that said it was a scam, so I panicked and closed the window because I felt like if I was going to get viruses from anywhere it’d be from there. Just wanted to make sure I did the right thing under that stress smh (I didn’t click the button by the way and haven’t gone back to the tab)
