Auto Pause doesn’t work on walking

Hi there,

i miss the functionality that my Apple Watch automatically detects when i take a pause in walking. Does the feature still work?

I use an Apple Watch Serie 6 with watchOS 8.5.1.

Watch app on phone;

Workout/autopause and turn it on or off here.

Autopause only works for certain workouts,outdoor running and cycling only.
