(Final cut pro) How to add this kind of background to the text?

Hey there! Does anyone knows how to add this kind of background that would be adjusted as the length of the text (subtitle) changes?

Sorry, I think I misunderstood.


What you need is to go to Edit>Captions>Add Captions and simply type in your caption.


It will have a black background automatically added.
