How to prevent burst photos while the camera timer is on?

I’ve read to turn off HDR but doesn’t work for me. Any other ideas?

iPad Pro 11 (2nd gen) OS 14.5

Turn ON Live Photo after setting the timer and check.

Turning on Live Photo prevent taking burst photos when the timer is on BUT it takes a Live Photo not an normal one 🤷🏼‍♀️

You can see here that I have clicked on the live button after setting the timer and clicked the photo and timer is running.
