Is there a way to upload music from an iPod Touch to a iMac?

I'm not trying to recover my iTunes library. I'm trying to do something else. I have a bunch of songs on my iPod Touch that I want to upload directly to Music on my Mac. Is there some kind of workaround that I can use to do that?

Generally, syncing goes from the computer to the device, not the other way around. You might try some of the suggestions in:
