used media ranges in FCPX 10.6.2not working

Just upgraded to FCPX 10.6.2 and seeing USED MEDIA RANGES in the menu view/browser no longer working. Gold bar no longer visible for clips that are used in the timeline. Using RED RD3 RAW clips.

Clips in Project's Timeline do not show orange bar I have a project with six clips in the opened timeline. 5 of the 6 clips show an orange bar in the browser as they should. One does not. I notice the same thing in various other projects in that event. Most clips show the orange bar when the project is opened as they should but one or two might not. I'm not sure if other events have this issue but a quick check of two other events don't show this issue. This happens with more than one project in that same event. There are a couple of projects that when opened fail to show some of the orange bars as expected. Some clips have the expected orange bar and some do not. What am I missing?

Clips inserted in timeline are being cropped and I can't change it Dropping clips from library into new Project timeline and every clip is being cropped (zoomed) in from the original. At the same time, a small box is appearing on the right side of the viewer...a red shaded area inside a larger box, apparently indicating the portion of the clip image being shown instead of the full frame. I have tried everything I can with Crop and Transform commands and reset to get the chosen clips to show full frame in playback but nothing works. Inspector shows 100% for Crop and Transform, but the small indicator window says it is cropped in. I've included a screen capture of the right side of the viewer window showing the indicator box. The answer to this is probably blindingly obvious, but I haven't figure out how to correct it:

Mine seems to work OK with 10.6.2.

Try resetting the FCPro Preferences.

Hold Option-Command as you launch FCPro.
