iPhone 6s categorie other very big in system storage

HI!

I have a question. A family member of mine has an iPhone 6S, with 16gb of storage (not a lot I know) lately I wanted to help her installing an iOS update. The phone told me that there was not enough storage so I went to settings. And I saw that the categorie "other" was about 8GB!! I tried to empty the cache of apps, deleted the trash bin in her mail, but to no avail.

Is there anything else I can do before I decide to do a full reset?
