Type C to USB A doesn't work on my 11 Pro Max.

I bought a type c to USB A

adapter for my charger so that I could use my powerbank to charge my phone on the go. When I tried it on my 11 Pro Max, the adapter was not working. However, I tried it on other iphones like 7 plus and 12, and the adapter worked. Is there any button I need to press on the settings? I've already tried turning on the USB accessories.

Greetings nald_dmngz,

Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities!

Based on the description of your experience, it sounds like the adapter may not be compatible with converting the needed power to charge your iPhone 11 Pro Max with the extended battery pack that you're using. Check to see if the adapter and extended battery pack that you're using are compatible to be used with your iPhone a mentioned in the following resource to see if that helps: Charge the iPhone battery - Apple Support

Note: You can also use third-party power adapters and Qi-certified chargers that are compliant with applicable country regulations and international and regional safety standards. See “Charging” in Important safety information for iPhone.

If you'd like to explore the available cables and adapters sold by Apple, you can do so here: Power & Cables - iPhone Accessories - Apple

We hope that information is able to help with isolating what is causing this to occur.

Have a great day!
