Reminders Subtasks and Managed Apple IDs?

I can use subtasks in Reminders on my iPhone with my personal Apple ID no problem. On my iPad and MacBook (both signed into a Managed Apple ID), it seems that subtasks do not work. When I alt-click a task the indent options are grayed out and I can't use the ⌘ ] keyboard shortcut either.

I have verified that Reminders is connected to iCloud. I am running the latest iOS and OS on all devices. Seems like flags and tags are also not working.

These are features our students and teachers would love to use. Can someone point me in the right direction or verify whether or not this is related to managed IDs?

On iPad (7th gen running 15.4.1) in Reminders, when I add a new reminder, these are the options when I tap the i:

I am signed into iCloud on that device with a managed Apple ID.

On my phone I am signed into my personal Apple ID. For the lists I have associated with that ID, I see Tags, Flag, Subtasks, and add image as options. I do not see those options on lists that are associated with my Managed ID.

Hi pi-rates_AstTechDir,

To create a subtasks in Reminders on an iPad:

  1. Open Reminders app
  2. Type in a new reminder as your primary task
  3. Tap the “i” to the right of the task
  4. Tap the “i” to the right of the task
  5. Create desired subtasks

If you're performing these steps, but still unable to create it, please provide more information on what happens.

Regards.
