help unmute my iphone i get no sound notification

I have a new iPhone 11 I cannot hear any notifications

Check if focus mode is ON and if then configure it/turn it off.

No Notification sounds after update to IOS 14 I have no notification sound when phone is locked. In "Do Not Disturb" settings, I have it OFF. In there under "Silence" there's Always and When iPhone is Locked. Those are the only choices. "While iPhone is Locked" is checked off for me which means "Incoming calls and notifications will be silenced while iPhone is locked". There's no other choice. I don't want Always. I believe this is what's causing this problem.
