Charging

I just got my iPhone 13 a few days ago. It’s brand new and I got it from the Apple store. I’ve tried everything the internets said to do but my iPhone isn’t charging past 99%. Keep in mind that the phone is new and there’s no damage. I don’t understand what happened. I’m charging it with the cable that came in the box as well so I don’t see any problem. I’ve tried multiple different areas to charge as well but it always ends up charging to 99. The only time it charged to 100 was the day I set it up. It’s been charging all day. Please give me advice I don’t know what else to do.

Hi there! Since you mentioned that you got this iPhone brand new.

When it comes to phones generally, it will take time to go from 99 to 100 because the battery needs to be slowly charged (For safety reasons) and usually takes up to an hour (or less)

Now if you had it plugged in for a few hours and has not reached 100 percent, I would schedule an appointment with someone at the apple store, worst case, it might be a battery replacement, or they might give you a new iPhone.
