How do I restore the Wallet app back to my Home Screen?

• Go to the last page of your Home screen (the App Library)
• Tap the Search field at the top
• Enter “Wallet"
• Drag the Wallet icon to any other page of the Home screen

Removing the Wallet from the Home screen should not change its contents

We would like to clarify. Are you transferring your data from another device? For example, are you restoring from an iCloud backup? If so, you would need to add your cards again to complete the process as listed in the following article:

Finish setting up your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

No problem doing that. Just ignore the message to add cards. Any tickets you receive will have an “add to wallet” button; just tap the button and the Wallet app will open.

Just removing the Wallet from the Home screen will not remove card details. If it isn’t showing your cards that you previously registered then there was more done than just removing the Wallet from the Home screen.

Wallet contents will be erased if the passcode is removed from the phone; is that a possibility?

If you have never had cards in the Wallet, that’s OK. You don’t need to add any cards.

If you are only wanting to use it for Boarding passes, tickets, etc. when you use the app in question to buy your airline ticket you will be offered (if compatible) to add the item to your Wallet without any credit/debit card being there.
