Can I remove the wallet app and reinstall it again as I think some features are lost ?

Unfortunately, Wallet is a built-in component of iOS and can’t be removed.
However, Wallet app “funkiness” can often be solved by signing-out of your AppleID … and signing back in.
Settings -> iCloud (Name) -> Sign Out
Note that you will have to re-enter any credit card security codes, so don’t perform this procedure until “ready.”
