Fusion drive

my fusion drive slow af should I split fusion drive? I have 128 of ssd. i resetted my fusion drive cuz of windows 10. deleted my macOS and now I'm back on macOS. I think factory setting was fine (fusion drive) but now its slow af if I install on 128 ssd how can I transfer photo and music application to other drive which is 1.8tb of HDD. is there any way to use 128gb ssd just with macOS system and transfer other stuffs to HDD without filling up 128gb of ssd?

You can set up Photos and Music to store their libraries anywhere.

You could move your home folder to that drive, but you need to maintain another admin account on the SSD.

Copy your home folder to the HDD while logged in as current user. Log out and log into the new Admin account.

Use the following as a guide to where to change the name of the home folder (enter the full path to the HDD home folder).

Change the name of your macOS user account and home folder - Apple Support

You don’t need to change the account name or folder name, just the path.
