- What exact version of iOS is on your iPhone? You can find this in Settings > General > About.
- Do you see an error message when you scan the QR code? If so, what does the error message say?
- Are you following these steps when you scan the QR code: Scan a QR code with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support?
- What type of laptop do you use? Which version of the OS is on the laptop?
