Attempting data recovery

Hi could you pls someone expert take time to explain me what exactly that means?

I charge my iPhone via induction, and sometimes it cannot charge it. Seems battery freeze. So I switch it off, and when it comes back I have a white screen with black logo and “attempting data recovery “ at the bottom of the page.

means that battery is at its end ? Means that the antenna has problems?

I’m not an expert. It’s not the first time that happened this to me. iPhone 12 Pro Max.

thank you guys

There's not a whole lot of experience with it in this forum, but again it's usually a result of a failed iOS update. Apple recommends performing a backup before any iOS updates, and an update via a Mac or PC requires a backup done before proceeding. If you have a backup, you might try and just recover from that.

One thing to try is just a force restart if nothing else works.

Haven't seen it, but there are lots of various articles on this and a few mentions of it here. Usually that happens when it's stuck when updating iOS. Not saying you necessarily did it, but it seems to be something that comes up with jailbroken iPhones or attempting certain updates that aren't official Apple ones.
