Unauthorized Purchases

My daughter is using her iphone to make purchases with a credit card saved in my wallet. How do I disable her ability to use the card for purchases.

If she is using her phone, and not your phone, there are 2 ways that she can use a card in your phone:


  • If she shares your Apple ID she can use your payment methods - and if she does share an Apple ID, stop that IMMEDIATELY and get a separate Apple ID for her, then set up family sharing. Sharing an Apple ID can result in many bad outcomes, this is only one of them.
  • If she already has a separate account and Family Sharing, see→Request and make purchases with Ask to Buy - Apple Support
