Okay. I was having the same problem. When you edit a reminder, swipe up in the screen and the prompt to allow notifications will pop up. Tap "allow Notifications" and it will activate it. If you go back into settings under Notifications, you will now see it in the list and you are good to go. Hope you get it fixed. Good luck

Hello jenney5309,

Thanks for that info and for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If we understand correctly, you are unable to see notifications options for the Reminders app in Settings on your iPhone. If you haven't already, please force close the Settings app, restart your iPhone and then check Settings > Notifications again:

If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open

Cheers!

Hi jenney5309,

If you'd like Reminders to appear in Settings > Notifications, this advice might help.

If you go to edit a reminder by clicking the Edit Details button or info symbol and then go back to this page, do you see Reminders as an option then? See the information quoted below from Use Reminders on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch for how to do this. We know this may seem like a simple step, but is quicker and easier to try than restoring your iPhone.

Edit a reminder

Tap the Edit Details button ("i" with a circle around it)  to add even more details and customizations to your reminder, such as notes, a URL, and a priority. You can also modify the reminder's notification settings and change the list that it belongs to.

If you continue to experience issues after following the steps and suggestions above, please contact Apple Support for additional assistance: Get Support

We hope that helps with your question and take care!

We're glad you left feedback for this, jenney5309. It’s appreciated.

However, Apple does take into account that not everyone owns a computer, and offers suggestions on what you can do. As noted in this article: If you forgot your iPhone passcode - Apple Support You can see if you can borrow one, or make an appointment at an Apple Store or an Apple Authorized Service Provider.

If you don't have a computer and you can't borrow one, you need to go to an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider for help.

And, we're always trying to think outside of the box, that same article has been updated recently so as to not require a computer: How to reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch when you forgot your passcode - Apple Support

Feedback is always welcome whenever you believe you have an idea that will help us help you.

All the best.

Yes I’ve already done that I also erased the phone and set up his new hoping that that would do it and that did not fix it. I do not have a computer that I can connect to iTunes to force or restore and reinstall on. At this point I do think I’m just gonna have to find a computer to erase it put a fresh copy of iOS on it but that’s gonna be a problem because I don’t have a computer. I really wish Apple would fix it to where people could reinstall the iOS without a computer. I actually do this for a living and I’m at a loss myself, I can understand why customers get frustrated!

Thank you for trying to help but like I said I do this for a living so there’s no point in calling. I tried your steps and it did not work. It will have to be a full erase and reinstall but like I mentioned before I do not have a computer with iTunes. Apple really needs to make it to where e can either do it with iPad or without computer. Not everyone has a computer in their homes now that our smart phones are mini computers. And yes I left feedback at Apple.com/feedback but that’s not enough in my opinion. I can’t be the only one in the world without a computer with iTunes. Appreciate your help though! Maybe send this feedback to Apple for me please? Thank you! 😊
