I see my purchase in the purchase history section, but the app still won't open up. Why is that?
iPhone 11
The app has to be installed on your iPhone for it to be opened and run. If the app is not on your iPhone and cannot be installed then check with the developer to see whether it has been updated to run with the current version of iOS that is on your iPhone.
