Read the Family Plan links. The dependent child's Apple Watch MUST be a cellular model, and the parent's iPhone cellular plan MUST support the Apple Watch Family Plan.

When you do the Apple Watch family plan, is it only with wifi? My daughter wants to pair her daughter's iWatch so that her daughter can reach her even if there's no wifi available!
