14in M1 max Delivery Delays?!

Global supply chain issues—don't feel alone. This is on par from what I have seen—late June.

The inventory can change daily/hourly. These are in stock items and typically at your doorstep in 24-48 hrs.

The Apple Refurbish center has a bunch of 2021 14-inch MBP including some M1 Max models. You could order one of these, put AppleCare+ on it, and probably get it rather quickly… Last Wed 2022-04-13, I ordered a 2020 Core I7 iMac and it was delivered (free shipping) on Fri 2022-04-15 as promised. Apple refurb products come out of the box in like-new condition.

I ordered from B&h like a few others in this discussion and received mine on Monday. I placed my order last week. I received a brand new macbook of the exact same specs that I built on apple.com but in a fraction of the time. Definitely look around and see if there's other certified dealers that you can get your MacBook from

See if B&H has it. I was in the same boat with the all in one desktop. So I cancelled the order and ordered it this morning from B&H. Coming in 2 days

Just go check B&H. I canceled my order with Apple and received my order from B&H just DAYS after ordering.

You are welcome to suggest that in product feedback, but Apple is unlikely to provide that sort of insight into what they would consider their internal operations.

You got a promised delivery window. That is likely as good as it gets.

If you can not live with that, cancel your order and make other arrangements.

I cancelled my order and found my M1 on B&H. Coming in 2 days

I ordered 14" MBP 1TB SSD and 64GB ram on the 3rd Feb and it was due to be delivered between 15 to 25 march. Coming close to delivery date I contacted Apple and was assured that it was going to be delivered on time ( I was sus because it had not shipped)... so anyways it obviously did not arrive and has been pushed back now to mid June {1/6 - 15/6/22). I really am a bit concerned that this represents 6 months of depreciation on this device before I even get it. I contacted Apple to ask if they would upgrade the SSD to 2TB to end up with me as a happy customer when the computer finally arrives but they refused to alter the order - even though it hasn't even hit the factory floor yet!

Also I asked about internet chatter saying that people who are ordering today are getting the same or even quicker delivery dates - and the apple rep I was talking to said that I might be better off to cancel my order and reorder the laptop to get a quicker deliver but this seems like complete madness and I refuse to believe this can be true..

So I wonder when it will actually arrive? sigh

You haven't read that these are manufactured in a facility in China in one of the cities where there was a TOTAL lockdown due to China's Covid Zero Tolerance? While the facility is open again, it was closed for close to two months. If no one is there to make these machines, they can't assemble themselves. So, things are quite backed up.

Assuming you're in the US, have your order number from the order confirmation email you received and call Apple at: 800-MY-APPLE and ask Apple why you can't find your order. It may just be a order system glitch. It happens.

I am in the same boat. Just a n hour ago, I cancelled my order. Apple support team couldn't confirm July 12(which is the latest delivery date), I have order Mac14 Laptop on March -01. Till today no confirm date from Apple. So i cancelled my order, i don't want to pay for nothing.
