Ok so now after this much time passed I want to see a counter showing how many computers need to be built before mine because this is killing me. Apple has high tech processes and facilities... they must be able to do better than saying its "processing" (order placed 3rd Fed mbp 14 max 24gpu 1tb ssd 64gb ram) until its ready to be shipped. At least if there was a counter showing how many units until mine is built it would be steadily counting down showing some progress.
Also I see in another thread someone's mbp ordered Feb 10 is now shipped with 20 may delivery. Great fortune to them but that really hurts... I get it ..the covid and the riots and human rights and working conditions and lockdowns and shortage. But where is the considered planning and risk management as some here have mentioned and above all, if we find ourselves in unprecedented times- where is the creative and considered response to this situation?
My laptop is for work use so it has been salary sacrificed from my wages. So I have had $750 a ft taken from my wage to be returned to me on the production of a receipt for the computer I have purchased
Computer was ordered 3rd Feb. So I have had nearly $5000 taken out of pay but because Apple won't give me an invoice or charge the credit card untill the computer ships I am just really needing some proof of concept at this point.
Thanks team, hang in there
