Apple Watch cellular doesn't work and apple is not helping

I bought Apple Watch sometime in Aug 2021, since then it's been giving me trouble. Its cellular model, the brand claims that we can use it even when we are not carrying our phone, primarily the reason why I purchased it from amazonIN .

I was using it with reliance jio SIM and could not take calls , while the phone was switched off or not in the range of bluetooth. Apple said could be the issue with Jio, then I used it with airtel SIM the same problem, it shows on my phone ICCID number but not on watch. Airtel says its brand's issue and not their network. Both the network providers Airtel and Jio have said that the eSIM is integrated from their end and they don't know why is it not reflecting in the watch. Still apple people are not owning up to their faulty product, which they sold me or maybe their cellular service doesn't work In India

I am not able to use the cellular feature and apple customer support team never helps anyone?

Do we have any right as consumer? None of them are helping I have written emails from Airtel stating that the problem is with the brand still apple doesn't help I can share so many case IDs the backend team closes. I am so mentally harassed by apple now that I want to know if I can go legal way or how can I solve this issue can anyone help me here ?

Keep in mind that this is a User-to-User technical support forum, and the volunteers here do not have access to internal Apple information, nor your any inside information about your cellular carrier.

Are those Jio case numbers (since deleted from the thread)? Jio is the cellular carrier that needs to work with your Apple Watch.

Also did you purchase your Apple Watch in India? Or was it purchased in another country while on a trip and brought back to India with you. There are a lot of threads in these forums where the Apple Watch is purchased in the U.S. or Dubai or other and taken home to India. Jio is one of the carriers that is willing to connect a U.S. model, but Apple does not officially support that.

NOTE: I am not saying you are using an Apple Watch from outside the country, as there are a lot of India Apple Watch users, and only a few post to these forums. I'm just trying to make sure we have accurate information.

I mention the U.S. Apple Watch, because while Jio can make it work, the U.S. Apple Watch does not support all the cellular radio frequencies in India, so if you happen to be using a U.S. Apple Watch in an area where Jio is using the frequencies not supported by a U.S. Apple Watch, then the Apple Watch would not be able to connect to the cellular network.

Again, I do not know where you got your Apple Watch, and I am not saying you got it from outside of India. And even if you did, I do not know where Jio uses its cellular frequencies and if your area is serviced by frequencies a U.S. Apple Watch cannot receive.
