Apple Watch

My Apple Watch is connected to my phone but the only notifications i have received the past couple of days have been texts on the watch. I've had it since December and this hasn't been a problem since this week.

my iphone doesn't notify me when i receive a test message or on messenger. If my apple watch is off i receive notifications just fine. My iphone doesn't notify me when i receive any messages or emails when i use my apple watch. If i wear my fitbit everything works fine.
