Local network

Some apps that normally use local network didn’t ask for it somehow on my iPhone 6 they do but on current iPhone (XR/11) it doesn’t what do I do pls I need help

Hey Ineedhelp79,


It looks like you checked out the article about local network but it's for iOS 14.


Let's try going to Settings > Privacy > Local Network and see which apps are enabled for local network access. If you see the apps but they're not enabled, simply enable them. If they're already enabled, try toggling it by disabling it, and then enabling it again.


Once that has been done, try restarting your device and let us know if you see a difference: Restart your iPhone
