Change cox email id. Previously someone said to also change outgoing stmp and I'm not sure what that is.

how do I reset the outgoing stmp as recommended previously. I'm stuck

I do have the proper password (I can go to cox webmail version with it just fine) defined when setting up the mail account. Should note this is also happening on my iMac without the nice little IOS popup message, it just fails.

Cox Email Account is causing my Mail App to crash within seconds of opening. Cox Email Account is causing my Mail App to crash within seconds of opening. I have isolated this problem to my Cox Email account after I disabled my other two accounts. The crash only happens with the Cox email account. I am on Ventura 13.2. What can I do to fix this?

SMTP = Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (for outgoing email messages).

Contact your email provider (Cox) and check with them all your parameters.
