Always on display is for apple watch 5 and above only.

Apple Watch Always on Display I have a new Series 7 Apple Watch. I have it setup for Always on Display. I have repaired and reset the watch several times and can not get the Always on Display to work. Everything else on the watch seems to be working fine. I have tried turning off Always On Display and waiting for several minutes and turning it back on and still does not work!

Apple watch 3, does not have an always on display option in the settings. I unpaired the apple watch, restart it, i did everything and there is no option so i can turn it on or off.
