How to find Apple Card number on iPhone 13

What did you see when you followed these instructions in the Related Article at the top of this page, the part that says:

1. Open the Wallet app and tap Apple Card.
2. Tap the card number icon , then authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode.
3. Next to Card Number, you can see your virtual card number.

But your original post says “How to find Apple Card number…”. So does your post’s title. There is a huge difference between Apple Card (the Master Card) and Apple Cash.

For Apple Cash, you may tap the three dots in the circle in the upper right, and see the last four digits of the Device Account Number.

There are many places where Apple Pay can be used. There are also many places where Apple Pay cannot be used, just as is true for any payment method.

You're confusing Apple Pay, which is a way to use registered credit cards from your phone with any merchant that supports contactless payments, with Apple Cash, which is used primarily to send money to other Apple device owners using iMessage.
