Kindle app on my iPad

Kindle app won't open on my iPad. I have tried shutting it off, deleting the app and reinstalling, deleting a bunch of books from my library... Nothing seems to be working.

Hello pkshafer,

You have tried a lot of great steps. The next best thing to do is make sure your iPad is up to date:

1. Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
4. If you see two software update options available, choose the one that you want to install.
The Settings app on iPhone showing options to update to iOS 14.8 or iOS 15.
5. Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do.

You can find these steps in this article: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

If your iPad and the app are up to date, then next best step would be to reach out to the developer of the app: How to contact an app developer - Apple Support

Best Regards.
